When will I hear back about my submission?
You can expect to hear back about your submission within 2-4 weeks of us closing the submissions for the issue.
Are simultaneous submissions allowed?
Yes, simultaneous submissions are allowed and encouraged. Any submissions that are accepted will be asked for first NA publishing and archive rights. After publication, all rights return to the author. In future submissions, we ask for a small mention.
Will I get feedback on my piece?
As of this moment, we are unable to provide feedback to the pieces submitted to our magazine, but in the future we will work towards doing so.
Do we pay?
No, unfortunately we do not currently pay for submissions. Occasionally, we will have a cash prize for a selected piece noted on our Instagram and Submissions tab for certain issues.
How often does the Fulcrum Review publish?
We publish quarterly, or four times anually, strictly online. You can find our submission deadlines on our homepage or under the Submissions tab!
Does my submission have to follow the theme?
Nope! As long as the piece fits our magazine's mission, we are accepting of any pieces. It does not need to fit to the specific issue theme.
How do we ask questions not answered here?
